Hi, I’m Nicola, a Senior Yoga Teacher with The Yoga Pros, with many years and thousands of hours of teaching experience. My teaching bridges traditional yoga practices, modern therapeutic approaches, and the deeper philosophy of yoga creating spaces for strength, inquiry, healing and connection.
I teach Ashtanga Yoga, Yin Yoga, and share yogic philosophy as a living practice that can support life both on and off the mat.
Ashtanga Yoga is a dynamic, breath-led practice that builds strength, mobility, focus and resilience through flowing sequences and meditative movement. In my classes, students can expect thoughtful guidance, strong technical foundations, and support in developing a sustainable personal practice.
Yin Yoga offers a slower, deeply nourishing complement to more active practices. Through longer-held postures, breath and awareness, Yin supports mobility, fascia health, nervous system regulation and deep rest, while also inviting introspection and stillness.
Alongside dynamic and meditative practices, I teach Restorative Yoga, offering deeply restful practices designed to support recovery, regulate the nervous system and promote healing on physical, mental and emotional levels.
Alongside group classes, I offer 1:1 sessions informed by my training as a yoga teacher in Yoga as Therapy, supporting people living with chronic pain, stress and mental health challenges. These sessions are tailored to the individual, using movement, breathwork, mindfulness and therapeutic tools to support wellbeing in an accessible and compassionate way.
I’m also passionate about making yoga available to wider communities, including work with Chair Yoga and the ageing population, offering practices that support mobility, balance, confidence and connection, while showing that yoga can be truly lifelong.
You can practice with me at David Lloyd Leisure, Ashtanga Yoga Glasgow and YogaJo’s, where I teach a range of classes and students of all levels are welcome.
I also run workshops and collaborations with inspiring partners, including Myo Yin, an innovative fusion of myofascial release and Yin Yoga. Using therapy balls, long-held postures, breathwork and restorative practices, Myo Yin helps release tension, improve mobility and create profound restoration, a practice that is both therapeutic and deeply meditative.
My workshops explore movement, philosophy, embodiment, mobility and therapeutic yoga, offering opportunities to go deeper into practice and experience yoga in creative and meaningful ways.
Whether through dynamic practice, restorative work, therapeutic support or philosophy, my intention is to share yoga as a practice of transformation, accessibility and lifelong wellbeing.
